The Belgian stock exchange opens at 9:00 local time and closes again at 17:30 local time. Between these hours you can freely trade the shares on the Belgian stock exchange. The stock exchange closes at the weekend.

What are the opening hours of BEL20?
The BEL20 is the most important index on Euronext Brussels. The 20 shares within this index are chosen by the experts of Euronext on the basis of various criteria. The Belgian index is a good indicator of the economic situation in Belgium. Companies included in the index include KBC and Umicore.
The BEL20 has the same opening hours as the regular stock exchange. This means that the shares associated with the BEL20 can be traded from 9:00 in the morning until 17:30 in the evening. However, some brokers also allow you to trade the BEL20 outside regular trading hours. The costs can then be higher and the trading volumes lower.
