This stock exchange was founded in 1791 and has been around for a long time! Anyone can invest in shares on the stock exchange of Austria. What are the trading hours of the stock exchange in Austria?

The Austrian stock exchange opens on weekdays, at the weekend you cannot invest on the Vienna stock exchange. Trading hours are from 9:00 in the morning until 17:30 in the evening. Between these hours you can freely buy and sell shares on this stock exchange.

As you can see, the Austrian stock exchange is not closed very often. There are only nine special days in the year on which you cannot place orders at the stock exchange.

Opening hours ATX

You can also trade the Austrian Traded Index (ATX) on the stock exchange. The ATX contains 20 shares and tries to track the performance of the shares on the Vienna Stock Exchange as well as possible. The opening hours of the ATX are identical to those of the Austrian stock exchange. You can therefore trade the ATX from 9:00 in the morning until 17:30 in the evening local time.
