What are the opening hours of the Finnish stock exchange?
The Finnish stock exchange is officially open from 10 in the morning until 18:30 in the evening. During this period you can invest in Finnish shares on the Helsinki Stock Exchange. Outside these hours you can often already place orders. With some brokers it is also possible to invest in the premarket or the after market. This means that you can invest in Finnish shares outside opening hours.
The index followed by the Finnish stock exchange is called OMX Helsinki 25. With this index, you can automatically trade in a basket of Finnish shares. The trading hours of the OMX Helsinki 25 are the same as those of the Finnish stock exchange. So, you can trade the OMX Helsinki 25 shares from 10 a.m. to 18:30.
